David Mark Schrock, Jr.
David Mark Schrock, Jr., 50, died at his home in Lynchburg on Sunday, February 13, 2022. He was a son of Linda May Schrock and the late David Mark Schrock, Sr.
Mark was born on June 3, 1971 in Lynchburg. After graduating from Jefferson Forest High School he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Liberty University, and his final employer was C. B. Fleet.
Mark was actively involved at Christ Reformed Baptist Church in Louisa, VA and enjoyed reading and collecting books, theology, history, fishing, and all things Charlie Brown and Snoopy.
In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his wife, Vivian; his children: Julia, Wes, Oliver and Annabelle; his brother Eric Schrock (Cyndi) and his sister Kelly (Shawn) Osborne; brother-in-law Josh Quintero (Heather); nieces, nephews, and many loving friends in the community.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Breezewood Drive. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 18 at 11 a.m. at Tharp with Pastor Jeff Riddle officiating. A graveside service will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Glioblastoma Research Organization at gbmresearch.org/donate.
