Duvall Lee Abbitt, 67, transitioned from this earthly life on November 24, 2022 at Lynchburg General Hospital. A visitation will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 4-6 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights.

Sending my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Duval L. Abbitt. Duval has been a brother-friend to my uncle and a family friend for five decades . You were truly dedicated to your profession and I can say I have had my hair cut by the one and only Duval. The last time I stop in to say hi. I will remember us laughing, cutting up and joking. With that said don’t be up there trying to cut Jesus hair... he wears it long Lol . You were truly one of the good guys enjoy your wings ! RIP Duval 😇
