Condolences & Tributes

Celebrate Elaine's life with a short message, photo or video!

Condolences to the Scott and Ross families and especially Gee, one of my first friends in life. Anyone who grew up on Carver Street or Fort Hill in general knew it was a special place for a time in history. A small enclave of black families that knew and cared about each other. Carver Street was full of moms and dads, aunts and uncles, and Aunt Elaine was one of the best. Those memories made on Carver Street at the Scott household will be cherished forever.

To Gee, Anita and the rest of the Ross and Scott family, I loved her and she loved me. Living across the street from her for 14yrs meant that we became fast friends from the time that I moved into the neighborhood. We laughed together, sang songs together and cried together. She was a very special person to me and I will never forget her. Praying that we will see each other on the other side. Rest easy sweet friend! ❤️
