Elizabeth Keyser Ellis

Elizabeth “Beth” Keyser Ellis 84, died on May 5, 2022 in Lynchburg Va. Born January 15, 1938 in Lynchburg, Va. She was the wife of the late William P. Ellis, Jr. daughter of the late James Robert Keyser Jr. and Mamie Morehead Keyser, and mother of the late William P. Ellis, III. She is survived by one son, Kirk Antony Ellis, one brother, James Robert Keyser III and his family.

Beth was a graduate of E.C Glass High School attaining the honor of valedictorian of class of 1955 and a member of the National Honor Society. She graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in 1959. She taught school for 27 years in Campbell County School System and the City of Lynchburg Public Schools. Teaching 4^th through 8^th grade she had a most positive influence on the lives of many children and youth. She was a member of Peakland Baptist Church.
