Ethel Lea Dawson Pick 93, of Madison Heights died Thursday, February 10, 2022 she was the devoted wife of the late George Edward Pick for 67 years.

Born December 2, 1928, Ethel was a daughter of the late Walter and Grace Burch Dawson.

Ethel was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Dawson Stinnette.

Ethel is survived by her sons; Walter Pick (Alva), Gary Pick (Vicki), and Brian Pick, grandchildren; Aaron Pick (Dominique), Alexandra Miller, Claudia Pick, Aidan Pick, and Cooper Pick, great-grandchildren; Joshua Pick, Kaitlyn Pick, Rylen Miller, and Haileey Pick.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Elon Baptist Church. A Celebration of Ethel’s Life will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Elon Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Tyree and the Rev. Barry Tucker officiating. Internment will follow in The Presbyterian Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making memorial contributions to Elon Baptist Church: 145 Younger Drive Madison Heights VA 24572.

Our heartfelt sympathy to you Brian and your family Ethel was such a sweet person Always smiling Jr and I always enjoyed seeing Ethel and George at the many get to gathers at RG’s and Bonnie’s There is a song serenaded by angels up to the throne and I know Ethel was Love to you all

I enjoyed spending time with Ms.Pick when she would come to the building. Her warm and kind spirit was so wonderful to all those she came in contact with.
