Frances Lynch Tuck

Frances Lynch Tuck, of Rustburg, Virginia died Monday, July 24, 2023, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late James Weston Tuck.

Frances was born in Bedford County, on July 19th, to the late Jessie Allen Lynch and Florence Mae Lynch. Frances retired from General Electric after 37 years of service. She loved camping, taking long rides to the hot dog stand, and enjoyed animals, especially dogs and cats. Frances was a member of Community Fellowship Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sisters: Barbara Booth and her husband Jimmy, Margaret Nethercutt, a son-in-law John Cooper and his wife Dianne, brother-in-law Thomas Tuck and his wife Ann, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers: Robert and Calvin Lynch.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.

A Celebration of Frances’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2023, in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home with Pastor Jackie Carver officiating.
