James Howard Lewis
James Howard Lewis, age 70, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 23, 2023. He was born in April 1952.
He was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Howard Lewis; his brother, Danny Lewis; son, Timothy James Lewis.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Campbell Lewis; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Lewis Camden and Philip Camden of Montana; son, John Lanier Lewis; daughter and son-in-law Sasha Lewis Hartsfield and Seth Hartsfield; mother, Betty Bush Lewis; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Karen Wilkinson (Ben), Darlene Campbell (Bob); brothers, Steve Lewis (Rosie), Chris Lewis (Vicky); also a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Monroe Church of God, 154 Rothwood Rd Monroe, VA 24574 @ 6PM on Monday, March 27, 2023 with Pastor James Witten officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Monroe Church of God at PO BOX 357 Monroe, VA 24574.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Madison Heights is assisting the family.
