Life Is Never Your Own

Our time on earth is never forever

We live to make it the best or better

We are given borrowed moments in time

And I leave behind many memories of mine

I lived and loved all of my family and friends

My memories are forever and they will never end

But now I must go and I must go alone

Because your life is never your own

I am thankful for the time that I was given

So until we meet again keep my memory alive by living!

-Karen Jackson Blunt

In loving memory of Jeffrey Darnell Jackson

Condolences & Tributes

Celebrate Jeffrey's life with a short message, photo or video!

To the Jackson family, I offer you my heartfelt condolences! I grew up with Jeff in Lynchburg, we all went our separate ways and back in the 80's I was on a MARTA bus in Atlanta, and lo and behold, there was Jeff on the same bus, I was amazed after so many years that I would happen upon an old friend, truly amazing! May Jeff forever rest in Paradise!

I never stop praying for you. I'm so glad that you and our daughter Tiffany got that bonding time together years ago. Losing someone you Love is like losing a part of yourself. You miss them and you miss who you were with them. Nothing will ever replace those happy times we were happily married. I thank you Lord for giving me the years that you and I shared together in marriage we strayed away from each other but Lord knows we had our time together. You will live on in my heart and may you rest in peace Jeff.

My daddy, my daddy 💔 they say time waits for noone and I that's all I wanted was just more time. 1 more hug, 1 more kiss, 1 more phone call, text, and much much more. Ima cherish every moment we shared and I'll never forget. The last thing you said was Baby I'm coming to get my grandson and take him fishing. You coming too but we gotta wait til you have my other grand baby. Don't forget to let me know what you having my child. I said ok. Then you said, you and your sister don't need anymore kids because I'm getting too old. We burst out into laughter. Not knowing that would be our last time talking and laughing and saying I love you. You always ended with, THAT'S MY GIRL 😔 Ima miss you saying girl you sound just like your mama when you laugh. My heart is shattered. I'm still in disbelief because we just spoke. DADDY I love you more than words can explain. Ima miss you like crazy!!!! I know you are at peace now. No more hurt or pain. Keep watching over us as I keep my eyes up to the sky. I love you, your baby girl
