Dear Leslie, I'm so very sorry that you've lost your Joe. He was a lovely man and I remember him from when we met at the Fistere family reunion in DC. I'm sending you much love and condolences long distance from London. Wish I had a magic carpet to deliver them in person, xxx Suze

He ‘ll always be Buzz to me. We had a lot of fun we five rambunctious Cochran kids. Later on those good times continued on holidays and the summer beach trips. Buzz was easy going, kind, and able to withstand and enjoy the joking and teasing we all loved to do. He was our gentle giant. Buzz loved his yard, the trees and flowers, his dogs, the birds, all of his family and most of all his wife Lee. We miss you Buzz.

This is one of my favorite photos of Joe. I know he would have wanted to take care of Leslie for the rest of her life if he could have.
