Kathryn Angela Camache

September 28, 1963 - December 3, 2022

Our beautiful Kathy (inside and out) left us Saturday, December 3, 2022, to find her beloved Isaac. She was born September 28, 1963. She was the daughter of the late James R. Camache.

She is survived by her mother, Lynn C. Shelton and son Riley Johnson (Hannah) of Lynchburg; her sister Susan Camache Darnell (Scot); nephews Cole and James Darnell of Virginia Beach; And her beloved shihtzu Tilley.

She was a dedicated registered nurse in the Lynchburg area for years after graduating from the College of Health Sciences in Roanoke.

A private memorial service will be held with Pastor Mack Almond officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention (AFSP.org) or Living Water Ministries.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg is assisting the family.

I am very sorry for the family. I remember riding the school bus with Kathy and Susan every day. Seems like it was just yesterday. Condolences to the entire Camache family.

I have known Kathy for 18 years as a friend and coworker.She was a kind person and excellent nurse. My deepest sympathy is extended to her family. She will truly be missed,but my wish for her on this next journey is to find peace in her heart and joy a!ong the way.
