Kenneth Waide Bush
Kenneth Waide Bush, 84, of Lynchburg, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023. He was the devoted husband of Carol Beasley Bush for 59 years.
Kenneth was born February 28, 1939, in Lynchburg, Virginia, a son of the late Willie Waide Bush and Exa Trent Bush. Ken was retired from Babcock & Wilcox and was a member of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Darrell Bush (Cathy) of Moneta, and Kathryn B. Hammond (Edward) of Radford, three grandchildren: Dagny, Adam, and Isaac Hammond, one brother William T. Bush (Carol) of Forest, and two nephews: Jeff and Jon Bush.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Chestnut Hill Baptist Church on Friday, May 26, 2023.
A Celebration of Kenneth’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 26, 2023, at Chestnut Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Ian McManamey officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers please consider making memorial contributions to Chestnut Hill Baptist Church.
