Lois Ester McNeely Reynolds

The family of Lois Ester McNeely Reynolds of Big Island, VA is greatly saddened to announce her passing on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the age of 96 years young.

Lois will be loving remembered for her unique sense of humor and immense care of others by her brother Charles Lewis McNeely; sisters Nellie Iris Jennings, Barbara Ann Radar, Norma Gaye Williams, 26 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ryland Lee Reynolds; her parents Bernard Ethel and Mary Elizabeth Jordan McNeely; her brothers Harold Devine and Julian Tuck McNeely; her sisters Eunice Ethel Binion, Lena Mae Spence, Thelma Lee Martin, Edith Louise Martin, Helen Joyce Douglas, Kathleen Jordan Smith, Vivian Grace Snead and Joan Anita Arthur.

Graveside services will be at Big Island Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2023.
Those wishing to honor her life can make memorial donations in her name to either the Big Island Fire Department and Rescue Squad or the Big Island Baptist Church.

Lois requested we remember her with smiles, laughter, and joy not with sadness and tears for she is only a step away from us as long as she remains in our hearts.
