Luis Ramos Ortiz
Luis “Pucho” Ramos Ortiz, of Lynchburg, VA, passed away on August 25, 2023. Luis was born on July 18, 1947 in Morovis Norte, Puerto Rico to the late Mr. Salvador Ramos and Mrs. Antonia Ortiz.
He is preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife Kathryn Ramos and his daughter Lena Ramos.
He is survived by his son, Luis Ramos Jr. (Amanda Ramos); daughters, Maribel Ramos (Fausto Bonilla), Michel Prieto (Arturo), and his longtime companion, Natalie Wiley. He is also survived by two brothers; Feliz Ramos and Angel Ramos, as well as three sisters; Felipa Ramos, Delores Ramos, and Catalina Ramos. As well as his seven grandchildren; Caitlyn Ramos, Collena Ramos, Isabella Ramos, Jennah Ramos, Luis Martinez, Jerameel Calderon, and Jean Carlos Diaz.
He was loved by many other family members, including stepchildren. Step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and his great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home, Chapel in Lynchburg, VA, on Wednesday, August 30th @ 4:00pm. Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg is assisting the family.

He was one of my favorite and loyal customers at Kroger. He was always happy and smiling. He brought me little souvenirs from Puerto Rico when he'd go visit his mom. He brought me spaghetti dinner one evening to work. Such a kind man. He will be missed.
