Malayshia Lena Solomon departed this life on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She is survived by her parents Karita Winston and Damien Solomon, both of Lynchburg, Virginia. A great grandmother, Rosa Brown, of Amherst, Virginia. Grandparents, Venetia Brown of Lynchburg, James Winston of Covington, Virginia, Melvin Brown (Kim) of Lynchburg, Virginia, and Claudia Solomon (Gary) of Madison Heights, Virginia. Three brothers, Malachi Dabney of Bedford, Virginia, Marquis and Marquel Solomon of Lynchburg, Virginia, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of unlimited friends.

Malayshia was a beautiful, bright young lady. She had a bright future ahead of her. She was very athletic and was always on the go. Malayshia was always happy, and her smile would light up every room she entered.

The family would like to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support through this difficult time…just always remember her for the happy girl she was.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023, from 6 until 8 at Tharp Funeral Home on Breezewood Drive in Lynchburg. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Ramp Church international in Lynchburg, Virginia with Dr. Michael FitzgeraldĀ  officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg is assisting the family.

Malayshia we will always love you in my household. We could not keep you away lol . You was one of a kind always had that big grin on her face, so respectful. You definitely lit up the room with all your goofiness. I love you baby girl and my condolences goes out to your parents and family.
