Patricia Frances Koch Meyers

Patricia “Patty” Frances Koch Meyers, of Bedford, Virginia passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023. She was the wife of the late Frank Scott Meyers.

Patricia was born on October 21, 1958, in North Babylon, New York. She was an active member at Bedford Presbyterian Church, The Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors (RVAR), and Boy Scouts Troop #183.

She enjoyed camping and spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren. Patty was fun loving and vibrant. She welcomed all with open arms and will be missed by all who knew her.

Patty is survived by her children, Kevin Henesy and wife Leah, Scott Johnson (Jessica), and Ryan Johnson; step-children, Kevin Meyers and his wife, Christen, Amber Meyers and her wife, Stacey; grandchildren, Tyler Henesy, Mason Henesy, Camden Johnson, Willow Meyers, and Kaya Meyers; mother, Doris Miller Koch; brother, Bill Koch and his wife Sharon; nephew, Joel Koch; nieces, Lauren Koch, Catherine Koch and Alexis Koch; best friends, Cheri Strelecki and Jackie Mata and many loving friends in the community.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her father William “Bill” Koch and brother Doug Koch.

A memorial service and celebration of Patty’s life will be conducted at 3:00 pm Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Bedford Presbyterian Church with Pastor John Salley officiating. Reception to follow the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Bedford Presbyterian Church in her name.
