Condolences & Tributes

Celebrate Paulita's life with a short message, photo or video!

To the Puzon Family, I know this message is extremely late, but I just saw the passing of your mother and I would like to extend my deep condolences for your loss with your matriarch. I did not know your mother, however, I worked with your father for several years at store #1835 on Wards Rd. I relocated to Florida in 2015, however, the many conversations that I had with your father remained firmly with me even to this day when I speak to my students (I am a teacher) about the essence of love and patriotism that your father expressed to me in several conversations we had to pass the time when we worked alongside one another on the cash register. He is literally the only man who I have ever worked with in any profession that I have never seen mad, never complained, nor did I ever hear him speak negatively about anyone...which is such a valuable and rare jewel to have in God's humanity. Although I cannot remember the specifics of every conversation, I can remember that he spoke quite fondly of your mother and I aspired to have the kind of marriage that he seemed to delight with so much joy. I just wanted to let you know that when I talk to my students, your dad is mentioned about the process of citizenship (he mentioned it took him I think 19 or 24 years...too long) however, when he became a citizen he said that was an important moment in his life. Always singing, always a smile, always a genuine greeting with a soft voice that I can hear him still saying "Mr. Daniel.......how are you today!" He touched the heart of the Christian spirit and his generosity was rewarded with many crowns in heaven. Blessings to your family, Mel Whitlock
