September 20, 1945 - July 16, 2022

Phyllis Fortner Wade, 77, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2022. Born September 20, 1945, she was preceded in death by husband, Roger Wade, parents, Paul and Norma Fortner and siblings, Roger Fortner, Trisha Wilson. She is survived by, three sons, Eric Wade of Appomattox, VA; Jared Wade (Daphne) of Lexington, SC; Chaz Wade of Lynchburg, VA; and six grandchildren, Alania Wade, Megan Marden (Ben), Natalie Wade, Carson Wade, Elliott Wade and Cooper Wade.
