Randy was one of the greatest men that I have had the privilege of meeting in my life. He took me in as one of his own, cooked some of the best meals that I have ever had and didn’t mind me spending countless nights on his sofa. Words cannot express how much you will be missed, thank you for all of the wisdom passed down through the years. Until we meet again, I Love You.

To my miracle man and his precious family who continued to have faith when the odds were not in their favor! My story with the Byers family began about 6.5 years ago after Randy had open heart surgery at LGH and things did not go according to plan. I was very pregnant at the time but loved having him as a patient and seeing how his family would prayer earnestly for him in the waiting room. They not only prayers for him, but would then invite other families in their stressful situations to come and invite them to pray alongside them. They were having a revival in the WR and praising Jesus! I remember seeing their faith and watching all that God did with it! I loved seeing him graduate from the ICU, but how I missed that family and their faith- they moved mountains! I had my son and Spring in her sweetness stopped by to visit and give me a meal while my baby was under a week old! I changed units a few years ago and I have seen him several times coming in for different heart procedures. I knew life wasn’t the easiest but I also knew he had such a trust in God, who was keeping him here for a reason. He had a silent and still presence that let you know “it was going to be ok, no matter what!”. He will be so greatly missed because he was loved by such a wonderful family but beyond that he also had so many connections to people who loved him even after meeting him once! He is no longer suffering and he is at peace resting in God with a strong heart ❤️
