Samuel Alexander Kendrick
Samuel Alexander Kendrick, 76, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on June 9, 2023. He was the son of the late William and Bessie Kendrick, and the husband of Betty Jean Lacy Kendrick for 56 years.
Samuel was born on October 6, 1946, in Lynchburg, Virginia. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam war. He was a provider for his family and all those he cared about.
In addition to his wife, Betty Jean Lacy Kendrick, Samuel is survived by his two sons, Eric Kendrick and Keith Kendrick; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and many loving friends in the community.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
All services will be private.
Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg is assisting the family.
