Samuel George Brown

Samuel George Brown, Jr.  left us on Monday, May 23, 2022, at the age of 53. His Loved Ones living for him after his passing are his only daughter, Sammantha Brown of Madison Heights, VA; mother, Miriam “Boo” Gains of Lynchburg, VA; two sons; Charles Davis of Upper Marlboro MD, and Dakota Reeves of Richmond, VA; A sister Andrea Brown of Warren, MI; four brothers Warren Canada of Lynchburg, VA; David Gaines, of Lynchburg, VA, Michael McDaniel of Lynchburg, VA, and Rondell Martin of Sterling, Va. ; devoted Cousins/Brothers, wonderful kinsman and clan, and excellent friends are left to cherish his memory.

To honor Sam’s memory, we are holding a celebration of his life on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 12 pm. Friends/Family visitation will be at 11 a.m. at Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory Lynchburg Chapel 220 Breezewood Drive Lynchburg, VA 24502. A repast will follow the service at the Megginson School 136 Spinoza Cir, Lynchburg, VA 24504. We invite anyone who knew him to attend and remember his wonderful and from the outside looking in challenged life. Sam’s request for dress attire is to “Wear what they would normally wear to their favorite leisure activity, wear what you don’t have to change out of after a funeral or whatever makes you comfortable at a memorial service. His favorite last words to his cousin Jay were “Thanks Cuz and Love You!”  “The Show Must Go On, No Matter What!”
