Shaun Wallace Bond

September 1, 1982 - April 15, 2022

Shaun Wallace Bond, 39, of Lynchburg passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022.

Shaun was a graduate of Brookville High School, after graduating he joined the United States Navy. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew and husband; he was also friends with many people; he will be greatly missed. He absolutely adored his children and was a devoted father.

He is survived by his parents, Douglas and Cynthia Bond; a stepfather, Jim Mays; his wife, Catherine Bond; sister, Crystal Bond who he affectionally called “Sissy”; stepbrother, James Dean Huffman; three children, Gabriel Bond, Morgan Bond and Colby Bond; uncle, Michael Lee Bond; special nephew, Jayden Jones;a special cousin, Gabriel; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Shaun, We were just kids when we met, 22 years ago. You were a wonderful father to our two precious children. They will always remember everything you've done for them and how loved they were by you. We are all so sad that you are gone but we will see you again someday soon. Love, Stephanie, Jamie, Gabe and Morgan
