Condolences & Tributes

Celebrate Shirley's life with a short message, photo or video!

My heart is saddened with the loss but rejoicing because she was in my life. A wonderful colleague and a gracious and concerned teacher. So many people are better for having her as a teacher. The school and classroom atmosphere were better with her in it. Blessed by God missed by so very many. Rest well Shirley.

Mrs. Floyd was my 6th grade teacher at Dunbar Middle in 1978. I can still visualize her classroom. I will always remember her kindness and genuine love for teaching. She was one of the best. My condolences to her family.
