Susan Louise Langdon, 66, of Lynchburg VA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, surrounded by her family.

So sorry for your loss. I met Susan just a few months ago. Roy and I went to school together. While on vacation recently, I took an extra day to visit Roy and Susan in Lynchburg. Susan immediately made me feel like family. Such a kind, sweet person - gone way too soon. My heart goes out to her family.

Dear Roy, Dani, and Samantha, Sometimes there are no words...She was so supportive of me during her time at Derby Elementary...always cracked me up and even took me to Long Island to meet her family. I will remember her for her kindness and no nonsense approach to life! What a blessing it was to have known her.

I am so saddened to hear of Susan's death. I left Glass in 2013 but always loved seeing her smiling face at the front desk when I would return to Glass. She was always a fantastic help to me in SO many instances and a good friend and listener. I enjoyed our time at your home at a cookout, also. Roy, she loved you and your family immensely. It was quite evident in the way she spoke of you all. I wish many blessings upon your family as your navigate this new phase without her, but she is not far, just a memory away!

Roy and family, I am truly sorry for your loss. Sue was such a wonderful and supportive person. I remember one time Todd, Val and I were At were at your place on the weekend. Work called and usually results in me having to respond. However, Sue was there with a cooler and shoved it i to my hand wanting me to drink it so that i had a valid excuse to not drive. It definitely helped! She knew how much i hated that aspect of the job and was there to help me out of it. Sue was one of those genuine people that was so easy to talk to and be around. She will be sorely missed.
