Teresa Jane Grant
Teresa Jane Grant, 63, of Lynchburg, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born in Bedford, VA on February 13, 1960. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Eugene Grant.
Teresa had a heart of gold, willing to help anyone in need. She had a love for animals and was known to take in any animal that needed care. Her favorite times were spent on her family’s farm. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Nancy Atkins Slusher and husband, Donnie; brother, Jeremy Grant and wife, Paula; nephew, Atley; brother, Joshua Grant and wife, Bailey; god-children, Ashley Foresman and husband, Zach and her children, Jack and Ryleigh, and Matthew Karnes; step-sister, Jenny Krantz and husband, Steve; step-nieces, Emily and Abbey; step-mom, Loretta Beemer; aunt, Joyce Lynch and her husband, Larry; and special friend, Tara Karnes.
Memorial contributions in Teresa’s name may be made to the Bedford Humane Society.
A celebration of Teresa’s life will be held at Loretta’s home on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 4:00 pm. For more information, please contact the family.

I’ve known Teresa since I was 16 years old! She was my best friend, and I am truly grateful and thankful and blessed to have had her in my life!! Teresa would do anything for anyone she had a heart of gold!! I love you Teresa and I miss you terribly, and I will see you again one day!! God bless you!
