Gail Terrell Wilmer, 71, of Lynchburg, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015. She was the loving wife of the late Lynn Sterling Wilmer. Gail was a retired Comptroller, accountant and caregiver to both her husband and mother.
Born on September 5, 1943; Gail was a daughter of the late John Carrington Harris and the late Josephine Smith Harris. She was a kind and wonderful woman, who always tried to put her family first.
Left behind to cherish Gail’s memory are her two sons, James Malcolm Hartless Jr., and David Adam Wilmer and his wife Kimberly Dawn Wilmer, their two children, David Carrington Wilmer and Adam Patrick Wilmer; as well as Gail’s sister Debra Harris and brothers, Mike Harris and Dan Harris.
Upon Gail’s request, there was no memorial service.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
