Gary Allen Wilmer
Gary Allen Wilmer, age 46, of Lynchburg, passed away April 14, 2010 at Virginia Baptist Hospital, Lynchburg, Va. He was the son of Louise W. and Lloyd L. Tyndall (the late Tracy V. Wilmer Sr.) of Madison Heights, Virginia.
He was born June 24, 1963 in Lynchburg. He graduated from E.C. Glass High School. He worked at Lynchburg College and Tomahawk Industrial Park during his lifetime.
He is survived by his sisters, Deborah A. Wilmer, Lynchburg, and Teresa W. Donnell (Peter) Evington, his brothers, Tracy V. Wilmer, Lynchburg, and Danny R. Wilmer (Vania) Montvale, NJ, step-sister, Nita T. Brueggemann, Monroe, and step-brother, L. Kevin Tyndall, Richmond, five nieces and four nephews, and special friends, Debra Bowyer, Kenny Erwin, David Johnson, Mark Robinson, and Richard \"Dick\" Williams.
The family wishes to thank the caring nurses of Centra Hospice Care and Virginia Baptist Skilled Care Unit.
A memorial service will be held at the Tharp Funeral Home, Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 2:00 PM.
