Gary Thomas Collins, 75, of Thaxton, passed away on Friday, September 08, 2023. He was born on July 13, 1948. A son of the late Buford M. Collins and Lillie Feathers Collins. In addition to his parents Gary was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Thomas “Tom” Collins, Jr., and Julian Christiopher Henderson.
Gary was a very simple man who loved his family. His time spent with them was always his favorite. He also loved Harley Davidson’s, Antique Tractors, Farming, Animals and Traveling. He was loved by so many and will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patti Collins; three daughters, Tina Chilton and her husband, Mike, Tress Nichols and her husband, Todd and Brandie Cheeseboro and her husband, Teo; Son, Mark Vaughn and his wife, Kelly; six grandchildren, Jessica, Erica, Trevor, Acelynn, Teo Jr. and Julianna; one brother, Bruce M. Collins. Also surviving are so many friends.
