George Russell Bowers, Jr. 75, of Lynchburg passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013.
He was the son of the late George Russell Bowers, Sr. and Lottie Mae Thornhill Bowers.
George was a member of Jordan Baptist Church for over 40 years. The Lord blessed George with a beautiful voice and he loved to sing hymns at church.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Jordan Baptist Church conducted by, Dr. Melvin H. Campbell. Interment will follow in Presbyterian Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.
