Georgia Farrar Hilbish

Georgia Farrar Hilbish, 82, a long-time resident of Bedford County died Sunday June 8, 2014. She was the devoted wife of the late H. Glen Hilbish.
Georgia was born July 12, 1931 in Nelson County a daughter of the late George Farrar and Linda Brooks Farrar. Georgia received her teaching degree from Radford University was a loving homemaker to her family and was a long time member of Beulah Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Michael Hilbish and wife Laura of Bedford, Sharon Rhodenhizer of Bedford, and Brian Hilbish and wife Debbie of Bedford, seven grandchildren: Stephen Hilbish and wife Jessica of Roanoke, Ryan Hilbish of Lynchburg, Taylor Rhodenhizer and wife Lindsey of Suffolk, Kalyn Rhodenhizer of Bedford, Nathan Hilbish and wife Ashley of Lynchburg, Jessie Winston and husband Rodney of Gladys, and Jake Hilbish of Lynchburg, three great-grandchildren: Madeline and Lacey Rhodenhizer and Anna Glen Hilbish, and one brother Grover Farrar and wife Mary.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday June 11, 2014 at Beulah Baptist Church.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday June 11, 2014 at Beulah Baptist Church with Dr. Dennis Hollandsworth officiating. A private family interment will be held at Amherst Cemetery.
