Gerald David Coleman

 

Gerald David Coleman, 73, of Coleman Falls, died Friday, April 6, 2012. He was the son of the late Robert Coleman and Dessie Martin Coleman.

 David is survived by two sons: Mike Coleman and his wife, Wanda, of Coleman Falls; Bobby Coleman and his wife, Laurie, of Bedford; a daughter; Pat Bryant of Big Island; four brothers, and four sisters: seven grandchildren; Theresa Thomas, Lori Coleman, Alesha Karnes, Ashley Coleman, Dakota Coleman, Chastity Coleman and Autumn Coleman; five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

 In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Coleman and a son David Coleman (Cricket).

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg and other times at the residence of his sister, Brenda Wiles of Coleman Falls. A celebration of David\"™s life will be conducted at 6:30 pm in the chapel at Tharp Funeral Home following visitation with Dr. Monty Fox officiating.
