Geraldine Luck Leftwich

Geraldine Luck Leftwich, 90, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. She was the wife of the late Junious Hensley Leftwich.
Born July 15, 1924 in Bedford County, she was the daughter of the late James Wellington Luck and Zelma Gladys Arrington Luck. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by two sisters: Zelma Reaves, Josephine Cofer and one brother: Bobby Luck.
Geraldine is survived by two brothers: James Paul Luck and Jimmy Luck and wife, Jennie; three sisters: Betty Anne Ferrell, Nancy Trout and husband, Bob, and Emily Williamson and husband, Robert; step-children: Gerald Leftwich and wife, Gladys, Barbara Hundley, Roger Leftwich and wife, Nancy; step-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 at Walnut Grove Union Church conducted by the Rev. George Stewart and Rev. Ed Sheehan. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Tharp Funeral Home in Bedford.
