Glenn was a wonderful husband, father, friend and Marine and left us all way too soon. He died in his home after a short battle with cancer on Thursday, October 8, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, April Rosenblum.
He was born on January 3, 1951 in Massapequa, Long Island, NY. After visiting Virginia he fell in love with the Blue Ridge Parkway and decided to move here.
His passion was music and he even started a band in his younger days. He also loved Alabama football, all things JEEP and his pitbull Stella but nothing compared to the love of his family. Whether he was cooking on the grill, at the beach or just hanging out, being with family was where he wanted to be.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene; daughters, Jesica Lotts and Jason, Katrina Gunter, Sara Richmond and Clayton, and Leia Thomas and Kevin. He will also be missed by his two granddaughters Leighauna and Nora Lotts, along with nieces and other family members.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Tharp Funeral Home, 320 North Bridge Street, Bedford, Va 24523. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
