Gloria Kavanaugh Hughes, of Lynchburg, died Wednesday, January 07, 2015. She was the wife of the late William Reinhardt Hughes.
Gloria was a daughter of the late Frances Paul Kavanaugh and Helen Welden Kavanaugh.
Gloria is survived by, a son: William Reinhardt Hughes, Jr., three daughters, Philomena Hughes, Bridget Alcorn, and Kate Burton and her husband, Penn, a granddaughter, Christina Boyette, a great-grandson, William Houser Boyette, all of Lynchburg, two sisters-in-law, Edith R. Kavanaugh and Fay F. Kavanaugh.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son in-law, Robert Charles Alcorn, a sister, Mary Elizabeth Malloy, two brothers: F. Patrick Kavanaugh, and Benedict J. Kavanaugh, and two nephews: Frank P. Malloy and Benedict J. Kavanaugh, Jr.
