Grace Lee Harrison Coffer Jamerson, 78, of Lynchburg died Monday November 7, 2011.
Grace was born in Petersburg on July 16, 1933 a daughter of the late John Wesley Harrison and Mamie Lee Hogwood. Grace was a graduate of E.C. Glass High School and worked locally as a licensed practical nurse. Grace had a passion for literature and writing, she already had two books published and was working on a third.
Grace is survived by her children: Earl Stanley Coffer of Forest; Dennis Edward Coffer of Seffner, FL; Phyllis Diane Coffer of Cocoa, FL; John Wesley Coffer of Concord; and Josette Jamerson Wooldridge of Rustburg, six grandchildren: Misty, Stanley, Jr., Brandon, Jennifer, Andrew, and Jessica, two great grandchildren: Dave and Caila.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday November 11, 2011 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 12, 2011 at Lebanon United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steven Parker officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society 3305 Naval Reserve Road Lynchburg, VA 24501.
