Gregory Allen Thomas, 55, of Rustburg was carried home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 22, 2014.
Greg was born July 10, 1958 in Lynchburg VA.
Greg was a faithful member of Living Waters Ministries. His ultimate love being Jesus Christ and his family, his second being the Beatles and drumming.
Greg was preceded in death by his father: James Edward “Jim” Thomas and Pop, Gerald Brown. Surviving are his mother Judy Honaker; Mom, Penny Thomas; son, Gregory Allen Thomas II, daughter Brittany and their mother Judy Crouch; brothers, sisters, and their spouses, James Edward (Eddie) Thomas Jr., Elizabeth (Beth) Hale and husband Rick, Jennifer Moore and husband David, Jason Thomas and wife Michelle, Jonathan Thomas and wife Janine, many nieces and nephews, and his extended family through Christ.
In lieu of flowers the family requests you make donations to: Living Waters Ministries Building Fund.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12 noon Friday June 27, 2014 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg.
A celebration of Greg’s life will be held following the visitation at 12 noon with Pastor Mack Almond officiating.
Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory, Lynchburg (434-237-9424) is assisting the family.
