Hallie Wright Cunningham
Hallie Wright Cunningham, 77, of Appomattox died Wednesday February 15, 2012 she was the loving wife of the late William Dillon Cunningham.
Hallie was born September 23, 1934 in Buckingham County a daughter of the late Roy Banks Wright and the late Lelia Adcock Wright. Hallie was retired from Thomasville in Appomattox and was a member of Sandy Bottom Christian Church.
She is survived by three grandchildren: Matthew Faulconer and wife Catherine of Lynchburg; Lindsay Allgood and husband Daniel of Madison Heights; and Mary Beth Schaeffer and husband Mike of Madison Heights, one great grandson Dillon Faulconer, a special niece Joyce France of Appomattox, and seven sisters: Bessie W. Shelton, Hope W. Lankford, Shirley W. Tomlin, Melva W. Ayers and husband Robert, Rosalia W. Mitchell and husband Charlie, Ruth W. Trent and husband Joel, and Donna W. Johnson and husband Bookie.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her son Jerry Cunningham, her daughter Ann Mordini, and eight brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of Hallie\"™s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 18, 2012 at Sandy Bottom Christian Church with the Rev. Jim Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. next Saturday February 25, 2012 at Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Darlington Heights.
