Harold Clinton Davis, 82, of Lynchburg died Monday July 22, 2013.
Harold was born February 12, 1931 in Appomattox a son of the late James Robert Davis and the late Martha Gunter Davis. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was retired as a professional roofer. Harold was a member of American Legion Post #16 and he attended Thomas Road Baptist Church.
He is survived by his two daughters Donna Davis and her husband Michael Shafer of Glasgow, and Angela Rowland and her husband Kelly of Lynchburg, four grandchildren: Noah H.C. Scott Burchette, Mycheal Cathey, Joshua Rowland, and Evianna Rowland, one great-granddaughter Gracie Lloyd Rowland, two sisters Shirley Burnette and husband Ron and Betty Elliott and husband Curtis all of Lynchburg, one brother Robert Davis of Phenix, and a nephew Ron Burnette, Jr.
A private family graveside will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery with military honors performed by American Legion Post #16.
