Harold Ray Markham
Harold Ray Markham, 80, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born November 29, 1929 in Arcadia, VA, a son of the late Mary Helen Overstreet Markham and Arthur Lee Markham.
Harold is survived by his sister, Elizabeth M. Wright or Roanoke; two brothers, Hobart F. Markham of Bedford and Leonard Markham of Salem; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Larry Johnson of Bedford.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory in Bedford. Graveside services will follow in Longwood Cemetery with Rev. Donnie G. Glass officiating. 586-3443.
