Harry Emanuel Braxton, Iii

d. April 9, 2020

Harry Emanuel Braxton III, lovingly nicked named “Pickle” and “Brax”, entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Reverend Dr. Harry E. Braxton Jr.

Harry leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted mother, Minister Pearl Braxton of Madison Heights, Va.; loving and devoted brother and sister-in-love, Donnie and Cheryl Braxton of Dale City, Va.; loving and devoted twin sisters, Rev. Annette and Rev. Andreal Braxton of Madison Heights, Va.; loving nieces and nephew, Ashleigh, Kristina, Shaelynn, Aarron and Samantha Braxton of Dale City, Va.; and loving and devoted family pets, Shonuff a Blessing (white German shepherd) and Mister Abe (Schnauzer), in addition to a host of relatives and friends.

Harry was well known for having a giving heart, always helping others in need and being a protector of his family. As a child, he received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was baptized at Rose Chapel Baptist Church, where he attended Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, served on the junior usher board and fellowshipped with his family during morning worship services.

He continued to have a close relationship with the Lord and enjoyed family devotions with his mother. During his illness, he faithfully watched Rev. Dr. Charles Stanley and Thomas Road Baptist Church broadcasts.

Harry was a graduate of Amherst County High School and attended Central Virginia Community College. As a professional, he had over twenty years’ experience in customer manufacturing, production and machining. He was known for his technical skills in computerized numerical control set up and operations. He also had knowledge in quality control instruments. During his career, he was privileged to have worked at ICT/Waytec Electronics, where he managed supervisors and operators to ensure all product lines and machines ran sufficiently. His career journey also included, but is not limited to, AMG Incorporation, Microwave Circuits, WEGMANN USA Incorporated and Advance Machine Technology.

Harry had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He was an avid collector of Steelers memorabilia, his favorite sports team. He was a huge fan of the Lakers, an intellectual conversationalist, and could hold a conversation with anybody. He was a great debater; loved books and news articles; played chess; and listened to all genres of music. His pride and joy were his nieces, nephew and his baby girl Shonuff.
