Hattie Grant Overstreet

Hattie Grant Overstreet, 86, of Bedford, died Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home. Born on September 4, 1924 in Rockbridge Co, VA. A daughter of the late Robert Alexander Grant and Hattie Painter Grant. In addition to her parents Hattie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Overstreet; two brothers and 3 sisters; and also her step-parents, Harry T. Grant and Eula P. Grant; her step-brothers and a step-sister. Hattie is survived by two sons; Michael B. Overstreet and his wife, Anne and Larry G. Overstreet; two grandsons, Jacob Overstreet and Daniel Overstreet; and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.Her family will be receiving friends from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Tharp Funeral Home in Bedford.
