Hazel Lorine Tolley Bordwine, 78, of Rustburg, VA, died Wednesday, November 01, 2017. She was the wife of the late Johnny Edward Bordwine for 61 years.
Born Sunday, April 23, 1939 in Bedford County, VA, a daughter of the late Thelma Cadd Tolley and Marshall Tolley
Hazel is survived by Johnny Bordwine Jr, of Frederick, MD and Lanie Bordwine, of Lynchburg, and her partner Diane; grandsons Josh, Ryan and Brandon Bordwine.
Hazel was a very caring and supportive Mother, Grandmother and friend, who was active in life. She worked throughout her life while raising two children until her retirement. She was a devoted wife and always someone with whom her friends could turn to at any point in time. She loved animals and was a volunteer at the Harmony Rescue.
A celebration of Hazel’s life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Nov 18, 2017 in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
