Hazel was born March 31, 1934 in Amatramic Michigan, a daughter of the late John Lynn Daniels and Marion Hackathorn Cooper.
She is survived by her son; Bradley Gibbons and wife Christine of Lynchburg, daughter; Karin Gibbons of Portland Oregon, four grandchildren; Ashley Gibbons of Lebanon Missouri, Danielle Gibbons, Audra Gibbons, Michael Gibbons, all of Lynchburg, and one sister; Sally Reilly of Grass Valley California.
