Heather L. Finley Chrisman

Heather Lanea Finley Chrisman, 42, of Bedford, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 4, 2018. She was born in Danville, KY on June 15, 1975. A daughter of Bonnie Gail McCarty Finley and Jerry Wayne Finley, Heather loved her Lord Jesus Christ and enjoyed living a devoted life with her husband and nine children. She was an energetic, loving, caring woman—loved by so many, so full of joy and life. She enjoyed homeschooling her children alongside her husband, teaching them the principals of life and the ways of the Lord. She loved spending time with her husband and children, decorating their house and working on their farm. Always loyal, dedicated, and faithful, she was quick to smile and ready to laugh—she will be sorely missed by all that knew her. A covenant-keeping daughter of the King; He has called her to Himself.

In addition to her parents, Heather is survived by her loving husband, Rodney D. Chrisman and their nine children: Sierra Hope Chrisman, Alexis Danielle Chrisman, Victoria Faith Chrisman, Elijah Rodney Chrisman, Samuel Rodney Chrisman, Abraham Rodney Chrisman, Olivia Grace Chrisman, Averie Elizabeth Chrisman, and Emarie Eden Chrisman. She was preceded in death by two children who passed in her womb, Ezra and Isaac Chrisman. She is also survived by her sister, Jennifer Gail Finley, her Maternal Grandmother, Lillian McCarty, and also numerous other family and friends.

A funeral service and celebration of Heather’s life will be conducted at 11:00 am at the Old Thomas Road Baptist Church, Main Sanctuary, 701 Thomas Road, Lynchburg, 24502, on Saturday, June 9, 2018. Burial will be private following the service. The family will receive friends for visitation and fellowship on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm also at the Old Thomas Road Baptist Church, Lynchburg.
