Heather Michelle Jouget

Heather Michelle Jouget, 47, of Salem, departed this life on Saturday, May 6, 2017 in Roanoke. She was born in
Hopewell on March 17, 1970. She proudly served her country for 12 years in the US Air Force as a security police
officer. She served during the 1st Gulf War in Saudi Arabia and was stationed overseas. She had been employed as
a dispatcher and a supervisor with the Virginia State Police.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ken and Margaret Tolbert; and her paternal
grandparents, Fred and Frances Jouget and several other family members.
She is survived by: her mother, Jeanie Tolbert; her father and his wife, James C. and Ann Jouget; her sisters, Lauren
Rose and Jessica Jouget; her best friend, Melissa Dunford; and numerous other extended family members.
Two celebrations of Heather’s life are being planned, one in June and the other later in the summer.
