Heather Nicole Hess, 33, of Roanoke died Friday, March 16, 2012 in Thaxton, VA. She was born January 29, 1979 in Roanoke, VA, a daughter of Deanna Calloway and William Allan Hess.
In addition to her parents, Heather is survived by three children, A.J. Weeks, MacKaylee Dickens and Caleb Dickens; two half-brothers, Cass and Cody Beverly; a special aunt, Patricia Hess; paternal grandfather, Clifford Hess; step father, Richard Calloway; and step mother, Terry Hess.
Memorial services 3 PM, Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Inner City Christian Ministries (corner of 9th & Jamerson Ave., Roanoke).
Explore every corner of my brain. Take my cells, if necessary, and let them grow so that, some day, a speechless boy will shout at the crack of a bat and a deaf girl will hear the sound of rain against her window.
Burn what is left of me, and scatter the ashes to the winds to help the flowers grow.
If you must bury something, let it be my faults, my weaknesses and all prejudice against my fellow man.
Give my sins to the devil. Give my soul to God. If, by chance, you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs it. If you do all I have asked, I will live forever.
