Helen "Lou" Gordon Lewis Holt

Helen “Lou” Gordon Lewis Holt, 88, of Lynchburg, died Sunday, March 24, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Langhorne Lewis and Helen Thomas Lewis. Helen was born in Virginia on June 30, 1930.
Surviving family members are her five children, Cecil Talmadge Holt, Jr. (Debbi), Susan Thomas Holt, Charles Langhorne Holt, Verna Holt Moseley (George) and Helen Duncan Holt (Jeff); one sister, Langhorne Lewis McCarthy; three grandchildren, Laura Ann Walker, Sarah Holt Fulmer (Jason) and Charlotte Langhorne Holt and one great-granddaughter, Layla Walker.
The family will greet friends in celebration of her life on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 between 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Oakwood Country Club, 3409 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg, VA.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
