Henry Harvey Dennis

Henry Harvey Dennis, 92, of Lynchburg died Friday October 3, 2014. He was the husband of Eleanor Gray Dennis.
Henry was born in Lynchburg on June 22, 1922, a son of the late Dr. William W. Dennis and the late Marquerite Wright Dennis. Henry honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy as a fighter pilot during WWII. He then worked as a professional stock broker with Legg Mason and attended First Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son, Henry Harvey Dennis, Jr. of Lynchburg and a nephew Robert Dennis of California. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah Burruss Dennis.
A Memorial Service for Henry will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday October 6, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Scholer and Dr. James Price officiating. Interment will be held privately at Spring Hill Cemetery.
