Henry Malcolm Jones

Henry Malcolm Jones, 94, of Rustburg passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022. He was the husband of the late Frances Roberts Jones.
Henry was born in Campbell County on October 1, 1928, a son of the late William Washington Jones and Mazie Carwile Jones. Henry honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy, was retired from Babcock & Wilcox (Framatome) where he worked as a nuclear engineer and was a member of Rustburg United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his two daughters, Karen Leigh Moyers (Chris) and Cheryl Jones Pillow (Rickey), two granddaughters, Ayla Elizabeth Sellers and Victoria Leigh McBride (Justin), one sister Doris Jones Shirey (William), three nieces, and two nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Jones Garnett and Marion Jones Yates, and one brother Emmett Washington Jones.
His main interests in life centered on his wife, of sixty-seven years, his two daughters and his two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Rustburg United Methodist Church.
A Celebration of Henry’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Rustburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Matt Laskey officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Rustburg.
