Howard “Petey” Dudley Tyree Jr., 54, of Monroe passed away at his residence Saturday, July 21, 2018.
He was born on February 7, 1964 to the late Howard “Pete” Dudley Tyree Sr., and Lucy Gottschall Tyree. Petey enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing, and being in the mountains.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Norman David Tyree.
Petey is survived by his wife Leslie Tyree; daughter, Jennifer Nicole Tyree; step sons, Jonathan Aubrey Moore, David Michael Litchford; two sisters, Joyce Leigh Tyree and Karen Tyree France (Jeff); his cousin who was like a brother, Alfred David Bryant; his canine girlfriend Isabel, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home Madison Heights. A memorial service will be on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Tharp Funeral Home Madison Heights at 1:00 p.m.
