Howard Lee Bryant

 

Howard Lee Bryant, 78 of Rustburg, was called to join his heavenly father on Friday, June 14, 2013;   He was the husband of Faye Williams Bryant for 54 years.

Born Friday, October 19, 1934, in Arvonia, he was a son of the late William Bryant and the late Mary Young Bryant.  He was preceded in death by an infant son : David Wayne Bryant.

Lee was a former member of East Brook Baptist Church and Gospel Baptist Church, but attended Clearview Baptist Church with Faye from time to time. He was retired from Archer Creek Foundry with 30 years of service.

Mr. Bryant leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Barbara F Bryant of Lynchburg, and Laura Goad of Concord, grandchildren:  Adam Bryant Roberts, Joseph Wayne Bryant, Lauren Nicole Billiter  Hansen (Brad) and Emily Faith Billter, great-grandchildren: Abigail Nichole Hansen, Jayden Michael-Lee Hanson, Gabriel Scott Hansen and Noah Wayne brothers, James E. Bryant   of  Georgia, J. Ray Bryant (Lynn) of Chesapeake, sisters, Daisy B. Humphreys (Joe) of Richmond,  Ruth Drumheller (Grayson) of Palmyra,  and Sue B. Peery of Concord, grandchildren: great-grandchildren: Abigail Nichole Hansen, Jayden, Michael Lee Hansen, Gabriel Scott Hansen and Noah Wayne Bryant, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM   on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Clearview Baptist Church,

A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Clearview Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Wayne Greene and Rev. David Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Clearview Baptist Church Cemetery, Rustburg, VA.
